Jamie Toledo

Jamie Toledo began her career in the hospitality industry after graduating from the University of Iowa, living and working in Mexico for over a decade. She returned to Iowa in 1999 and worked for Alliant Energy in various leadership positions, including the international division, supplier diversity, lean six sigma and fleet operations.

After the Cedar Rapids flood of 2008, Jamie worked for a year with the Transitions Made Better/Jump Start business flood recovery programs, helping to get companies back on their feet.

Jamie currently works for the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance as the Economic Development Relationship Manager. Her role covers a large scope of efforts, including business attraction, expansion and retention, site selector outreach, international liaison work, regional DEI Coalition initiatives with Inclusive ICR, rural economic development support and workforce programming support.

Over the years, Jamie served on the board of Young Parents Network (YPN), the board of the Cedar Rapids Convention and Visitors Bureau, steering committee and advisory board for Inclusive ICR, and advisory board for Iowa Ideas with the Cedar Rapids Gazette.

She is currently on the Board of Trustees for YPN, board member with the Cedar Rapids Concert Chorale and member of Daybreak Rotary. Jamie enjoys traveling, theatre and biking. She is grateful to have spent most of her life in Cedar Rapids, where she raised her daughter, Andie. Jamie attended the University of Iowa and holds an MBA from Nova Southeastern University.
